Module 1
Introduction & Allegiance
Welcome to Blessed Assurance! In this module, we introduce the high level concepts and map out the plan for the journey you’re embarking on.
Some Christians have already pondered what their calling might be in the past. We’ll record these insights in a couple baseline worksheets. Then we will dive deep into how a Christian/Biblical approach of receiving your calling from God differs from culture’s self-determined, self-promoting concept. How you approach this topic, and who will be calling the shots in your life, will drasticly impact the conclusions you end up with.

Learn why your purpose matters from an earthly and eternal perspective.
Get the big picture, seeing how 5 key areas work together to define your purpose.

Module 2
Design: Who am I?
Design is the sum of the innate qualities you were born with: your personality (your nature and soul’s inner working) and your strengths (your talents and aptitudes).
Module Highlights:
Become aware of your top strengths through an inventory, interviews with friends and online tests.
Recognize your personality type and how it blends or rubs with other types. See the value that each type brings.
Think about the different personalities needed on your ideal team. Who is missing, or who would benefit from redefining their role?
Module 3
Passion: Why do I desire This?
Passion is the engine that gives you energy and sustained motivation for what you do. Your passions are usually rooted in your deeply held values. And Dreams are containers that define and express what we are passionate about. In this module we start with your dreams, identify the common themes, which leads us to solidify your values and passions. Your God given purpose is connected to your passion, which is why it keeps repeatedly showing up in your life.
Module Highlights:
Passion Bullseye Worksheet: helps you recognize which Passions naturally motivate and give you energy.
Dreams are a window to your heart. They draw back the curtain on your passions, deepest desires and values. Identify the themes behind multiple dreams.
Dreams are containers that give form to your passion, so you can talk about them. What different containers might you have overlooked, through which your passion can be lived out?
Identify your top 5 values and write a personal value statement for each one.
Module 4
Preparation: What has life prepared me for?
Understanding the many preparations that God is building in you, helps you to see the big picture. Most people do not enter their ideal/convergent role until age 50/60+ So how should I feel in the meantime? Recognizing the importance of all God is doing to get you ready, helps you to embrace your current season. It also brings meaning to the mystery seasons that you spent in outside preparation or a negative experience.
Module Highlights:
Use the preparation resume to collect all of the skills that you have built from different stages of your life.
Use the internal preparation resume to recognize all of the character that you have built through varied life experiences.
God can prepare us even out of negative experiences. Instead of avoiding these, take note of the character, passion or life message which was built in that time.
Outside preparation and Destiny events are additional clues that we have often overlooked.
Module 5
Calling: Where is the Master sending me?
This module is packed with practical exercises that help you recognize the many ways that God has been revealing His plans for you. Then you will finalize your life messages – the places where you have notable influence and that reveal a facet of God through your life. Finally, you will put the 4 pieces of Audience, Impact, Task and Life message together to define your CALLING.
Module Highlights:
Use the Revelation Resume to collect all of the ways that God has spoken to you in different stages of your life.
Clarify your Life Messages – a soapbox issues, a place where you have unusual power or recognized qualification, or a place where others are drawn to you.
Discover your Audience, Impact, strongest Influence style and Task to deliver your Life Message.
Module 6
Convergent Role and your Purpose Statement
This is where it all comes together! You have been noting and refining key pieces throughout the course which will now come together to form your personal purpose statement. Use this statement to imagine your ideal convergent role. Then you will make a plan of how to continue moving towards this role, and how you can begin intentionally sharing your life messages now. Begin living each day confidently and in contentment as you now know your God-designed purpose.
Module Highlights:
Take all that you have discovered to draft out the ideal convergent role for yourself. Consider the timing and path for you to transition into this role.
Using the template, plug in key pieces that you have defined throughout the course to finalize your Personal Purpose Statement.
Celebrate!! Post your purpose statement somewhere you will be easily reminded of it. Share your statement with your family and those close to you. Begin applying your new understanding to de-clutter your life, strategically move towards your convergent role, and begin sharing your life messages now.

Am I too old or too young for this?
This course is best suited for anyone age 25 and older. The workbook exercises pull a lot from your past experiences, and frankly folks in their teens and 20’s are still collecting those experiences. Remember when you changed college majors . . . maybe a few times. It is all part of the process and preparation. This course helps you to observe your past experiences for themes, strengths and passion topics.
From the more experienced end of age – we have had students who were recently retired and others in their 70’s. Some of them finished the course to find that they are exactly in their convergent role! Wow, that felt Awesome to receive that assurance. Our newly retired students finished with courage and plans heading into their next season.
How much time will the homework take each week?
Each lesson takes typically 2-3 hrs. to complete. You will have a 20 min. teaching video and typically 5-7 pages to read. This will be followed by 3-6 workbook exercises. The exercises are the gold of the course where you answer the step by step prompts about your own life. The time each week varies depending on how much reflection time you invest on each exercise. Like they say, the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it.
For those of you who choose to go self-study, the pace is up to you! You will have your workbook forever and access to the online videos for two years.
I've tried to seek out this topic before, but only really got to "Be a good neighbor and love people". How can I know that this time will be different?
The workbook provides 60!! exercises designed to cue your thoughts about YOUR specific life experiences, strengths, passions, values etc. This leads you down a funnel to create your own specific life calling statement. In the process you will also identify: your doing call and being call, your life messages, audience, impact, influence style, and convergent role. The principles all come from the Bible, but the practical exercises are what lead you to the specific application of these principles for your life.
If I signed up for All-Access, what if I miss one of the live classes? Will they be recorded?
Yes, we will record the live classes, and send them to you for playback. But you will miss out on the important live time with your peer partner. Some of the playback video will have blank spots as the class is working together in their pairs. You will always have constant access to the 17 teaching videos and your workbook reading and exercises.

If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably had a few twists and turns in your life. Maybe your initial dreams and goals for life didn’t quite turn out as you expected or anticipated.
